How can I import products from URL file?

You can import files of formats xls, xlsx, yml, specifying their URL in the Internet. For this, you need to go to the Import URL tab and perform 5 simple steps:

Step 1. Specify the resource address with the file.

Step 2. Select the data update period.

Step 3. Mark the fields that need to be updated.

Step 4. Select the action with the goods that were added to the product catalog earlier: "Do nothing" or "Make inactive".

Step 5. Click the Import button.

 

If you change the update period or the fields for updatting, click Save Settings.

Please note that the "Group" field is required. Products without groups are not imported.

If you wish to link the Groups to the products manually, we recommend using the option "Scan groups during import". In the special window you can manually select/change the group, which includes your commodity items.

To cancel the import, click the Skip button.

 

After the import process is completed, the system displays the import results:

1. The number of downloaded items.

2. The number of not imported items.

Clicking on the Details option, you can see the report on the import process and errors, why certain positions were not imported.
